This is an audio recording of what is Chapter One of the non-fiction work I am writing, tentatively titled, "Murmuration." The term "murmuration" refers to the behavior of birds, specifically, starlings, who change direction as a flock, all at once, without any individual leader. The opening chapter takes place in the setting of a Cacao Ceremony in a teepee warmed by firelight that I attended on the New Moon hosted by Sacred Heart Cacao at Blue River Forest Sanctuary in the Kansas City area.
I hope you will take the time to enjoy, perhaps with your headphones before bed. The words, as is my style, are poetic, and I hope you enjoy the meditative quality of the spoken words. They'll help you fall asleep if you listen before bed .... and at the same time, help you wake up. Let's imagine a positive future, a world we all want to live in.
This book is in the genre akin to Charles Eisenstein's "The More Beautiful World our Hearts Know is Possible."
